ACCA FD - Foundation Diploma

SBM is pleased to announce the launch of the new ACCA Foundation Diploma available from 9 May 2013. If you want a rewarding career in finance and accountancy and have no previous qualifications, then the Foundation Diploma is a great place to start. Once you’ve completed it, you’ll be automatically transferred to the ACCA Qualification and given exemptions from the first three exams.

There are total 9 papers out of which 7 papers are compulsory to transfer into ACCA part-2 (Applied Skills) The compulsory parts of Foundation Diploma are; Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting; Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting; and Diploma in Accounting and Business. These awards are essentially the equivalent of the Foundation Diploma and both qualifications provide entry to the ACCA Qualification on completion, with exemptions from exams BT, MA, FA.

Note that Foundation Diploma requires no formal qualification for entrance.
